The Salvaged Selvedge is a 12oz Japanese Selvedge Denim with a classic washed indigo blue tone. In 2018 typhoons and mud slides ravaged Okayama, Japan – the hub of the Japanese denim industry. Mills saw rolls of denim covered in mud and debris, essentially ruining them. Instead of allowing this fabric to end up as waste, it was salvaged. The rolls of denim went through a rinse wash process, something that is normally done on finished jeans. This denim therefore has a rise washed look and feel.  You’ll notice varying shades of indigo throughout as well as a hairy cotton surface texture.  Inside you’ll notice the classic red line selvedge ID.  Some discolorations may also be present, a reminder of the devastation that afflicted this denim.  Cut, sewn, built in Canada with contrast stitching, a recycled leather patch, and silver metallic buttons and rivets. 

The Super Guy is a slim tapered fit; medium rise, slim thigh and taper from the knee to hem.

Note that there is a typo on the back pocket flasher incorrectly listing the denims weight at 14.5oz.  The correct weight of this denim is 12oz.
